Web conferencing is used to conduct live meetings or presentations over the Internet.

A Webinar (short for Web-based seminar) is a type of web conference in which audience interaction is possible. A webinar is 'live' in the sense that information is conveyed according to an agenda, with a starting and ending time. The presenter can share slide presentations, video clips and live video demonstrations. The audience is able to see and hear the presenter, and respond with text messages.
